The Kirkin' of the Kelso Laddie

The Kelso Laddie Andrew Thomson lays a wreath
at the War Memorial at 6.00 p.m.
The Kirkin of the Kelso Laddie takes place this year at Kelso Old
Parish Church where the United Service commences at 6.30 p.m.
Kelso Churches Together are always delighted to host the Kirking of the Laddie
service at the beginning of Civic Week.

This tradition goes back many years and as part of the service the Laddie is
presented with a Bible as a gift from all the Churches.
It is a great joy when people of all traditions and none, join together to celebrate
our wonderful town and also to give thanks for Kelso Laddies, past and present.
